Alfie Hewett from England began the defense of her Wimbledon title with a comfortable victory against Daniel Caverzaschi from Spain in 54 minutes.
Big champion 10 times in the single and 22 times in the doubles with his compatriot Gordon Reid, Hewett won a 6-1 6-2 victory which was comprehensive in trial three.
The 27 -year -old finally won his first title in SW19 last year to complete the Grand Slam’s career.
The second seed will face Ji Zhenxu in China in the quarter -finals and cannot meet with double partners Reid to the final.
Hewett and Reid will get their campaign for a third double title in a row that is taking place on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, British Wildcard Dahnon Ward lost his first round match against Spanish third seed Martin de la Puente 6-2 6-0.
