The love affair between Karl-Anthony Towns and Minnesota didn’t end because he was traded, “I continue to see Minnesota as home for me,” Towns said at shootaround Thursday.
Thursday night when he was introduced – as a member of the visiting New York Knicks – there was a tribute video.
Then there was a standing ovation when the Drums were formally introduced.
KAT also reminded fans what he can do on the court.
Earlier in the day, Towns had said that he is now a “die-hard Timberwolves fan” and that he still loves the city and the franchise.
