Steph calls out the fan behind Dubs-Wolves for stealing shoes from a kid first appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
strong strong Steph Curry bring in energy Golden State’s 113-103 win on the big-time section Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night at Target Center.
Curry finished with a game-high 31 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field and 7 of 16 from 3-point range. He capped the night with an 11-0 lead late in the fourth quarter.
But the 10-time NBA All-Star’s biggest impact on Saturday didn’t make the box office. Instead, Curry showed why he’s a fan favorite in a viral postgame clip making rounds across the basketball world.
As seen in the video, Curry tried to throw his shoe in the air after the win. And unfortunately, there is always one person.
An older fan allegedly tried to take Curry’s gifted pair of shoes from the chosen child. However, the killer who faced the child did not.
“Hey,” Curry yelled while pointing to fans of interest in the crowd. “Shall. Give him (the shoe).”
The video ends before any result of the interaction is recorded. Indeed, Curry’s instructions forced the fans to do the right thing.
Regardless, Curry brought all the good vibes to Minnesota.
Here it is danced away during a time.
And here he is, after a personal 11-0 run, making the Timberwolves question why they even play basketball.
Curry is more than an athlete. Your humanitarian team was on full screen, as were Curry’s efforts for children.
