The colitis is not yet known when his quarterback will open the season against dolphins on September 7.
But whatever it is, it will have a strong two -fold option at the tough end in the first round of Tyler Warren.
This year’s draft was ranked 14th, Warren made a solid debut in last week’s preview game, which caught all three of his goals for 40 yards.
Head coach Shane Stechin told reporters on Sunday that Warren had stood in the field that the team had seen on the tape in the scouting process – and that’s a great thing.
“I think his physicality that he brings, obviously, was unusual to see it in direct action last week,” Stechin said, “It would be unusual for us to see it in direct action last week.”
For her part, Warren said she was generally able to feel how life would be on a weekly basis.
“This is a different league. Everyone is professional.” “So, just for the first time staying out there and going down your belt like this was really good for me and the team as a whole, and especially crime.”
