Sabers Hit New Low With Jaw Dropping Statistics

With this loss, the Sabers officially have their third losing streak in 13 games since the start of the postseason. This brutal number puts them in a unique spot: According to Big Head Hockey, no other NHL team has trailed more than one in 13 games since the cap season began.

The Sabers have lost 18 games in a row in 2020-21, which spans the 2003-04 Pittsburgh Penguins. They also lost 14 straight games during the 2014-15 campaign, which the Sabers will aim to avoid when they face the New York Islanders tonight (Dec. 23).
