As the Sabers continue to struggle, there is a good chance we will see them make significant changes to their roster. One player who stands out as a potential trade candidate for this he is the defender Henri Jokiharju.
Jokiharju, 25, is in the final season of his contract and could become an unrestricted free agent this coming summer. Because of this, he could be a recruiting target for contenders looking to shore up their defense on the right side before the postseason.

In 26 games this season with the Sabres, Jokiharju has 1 goal, 3 points, 23 hits, and a 2-point average. This is after he scored three goals and had a career high with 17 assists and 20 points in 74 games last season with the Sabres.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens with Jokiharju from here, but he’s undoubtedly another pending UFA from the Sabers to keep an eye on.
