We are approaching Eagles Training Camps 2025 so we are taking a look at some of the camp competitions.
The Eagles will have another new start -up in 2025, which has been an annual event since Brandon Brooks is in his prime minister.
Mehkhi Bitton served as the Eagles Starter in the Right Guard for the 2024 Super Bowl season, but went to the free agency on a two -year contract with Los Angeles Chargers. This means that the Eagles will stand a new right guard between Kim Georgnes and Lane Johnson in 2025.
Candidates are:
Tyler Stein
Age: 25
Experience: Year 3
Size: 6-6, 321
This is the second straightforward year that Stan has been the initial guard during spring methods. Last year, when Kim Georgnes moved from the right guard to the center to replace Jason Kelce, the assumption was that Stan would replace the third round selection of the third round. And that’s what happened until Stan suffered a minor ankle injury at the training camp. The Eagles plugged Bittin into the right guard and never moved it. Stan still finished playing in all 21 games in the last season and started three, including the NFC Championship game in the left guard. Stein’s key is a consistency. He has spent good moments in the NFL but he has not been a player in every snap or even in every game. If this is not a year when Stan wins a job, it is probably not going to happen.
Matt pyreh
Age: 30
Experience: Year 8
Size: 6-7, 332
The Eagles drafted the pier in the sixth round of the TCU in 2018 and spent their first few years in the Fly before trading in the Colts. Since leaving the Eagles, Prior has developed a good carrier with Colts, 49ers and Bears. Last season, Priyar played in all 17 games and started 15 in the right guard for Chicago. And he played well. According to Profit Ball Fox, Prior was the number 21 in the NFL last season, which was the only place behind Brick. For reference, Stein qualified and 75 out of 75 were ranked. Priyar was the right guard of the second team this spring.
Kenya Green
Age: 24
Experience: Year 4
Size: 6-4, 325
Green was developed by Texas in 2022 with a total of 15 marks from Texas A&M, but its NFL career has not been planned. He started 23 games for Houston’s left guard but really struggled. In March, CJ Gardner Johnson turned green as part of the return of trade. Eagles OL’s coach Jeff Stutland has saved the career before and it is interesting to give him a failed choice of the first round, but it seems like a long shot that Green will suddenly live in his ability to live. By the way, PFF ranked Green as the number 76 out of 76 out of 77 last season.
Trever Cagan
Age: 24
Experience: Year 2
Size: 6-5, 306
We will go ahead and add 2024 the fifth round Chen to the list, but it is certainly not a favorite. Kagen won the national championship as the left guard of Michigan before coming to the NFL. Being a dust, he spent most of the years as a healthy scratch and played in just one game, with a total of 35 aggressive snaps.
Outlook
It looks like it is to lose Stein’s job, but last year it was the same. The question is, whether a great threat to Prior or Green Stein is as a Bacter a year ago. Eagles usually like major guards and make Bittin the largest protector in NFL history last season. Johnson may have to say something in it because he would have a priority to know who stands in line with him. However, Johnson has played with 13 different right guards in his career and it seems that he has not been upset. The good news for the eagles is that they have been decorated in 4 out of 5 aggressive line positions. It doesn’t matter who wins this right guard, they are going to become a weak link. But as long as the initial right guard is close to average, this line should still be excellent in football.
