On Wednesday morning, the announcement that the draft would continue through the ESPN would not include any information about the deal period.

According to the Austin Corp Sports Business JournalIt’s a Five -year -old contract.

This means that the contract runs by 2030 – which agree with the expiry of the current broadcast deals, if/when (when) the NFL plugs on all packages.

According to the report, the contract is non -special. Which allows NFL to sell other networks rights to draft television.

It is not yet clear what will happen to the NFL network coverage of the draft, now the ESPNFL network will run. On the one hand, it has no business in copying productive efforts. On the other hand, the ESPN/ABC already has several production for the draft.

To the extent that the league and the four-letter network have concerns about the potential ESPN-Estify of the NFL network, the best move would have to preserve the existing NFLN broadcast of the draft. Even if it is cheaper to collect them and smooth the process.
