In the same move, the team pardoned a wide -ranging recipient, Sam Brown Junior, with the position of injury.
Stellers cut off Smith in May after claiming to leave Patriots in March.
Cardinals selected Smith for the sixth round in 2022, and it appeared with three start in the 18 NFL Games.
With Patriots in 2024, Smith appeared with a start in eight games. It started as an additional blocker in the opening game against Jets, and played only three aggressive snaps.
In the preview of 2024, Smith played 79 snaps in the left guard, 41 in the center and three in the right guard.
