Striker Nicolas Jackson has agreed with Chelsea that he can leave the club.
The 24-year-old was trained alone on Friday when he reported the transfer from Newcastle after failing to sign Manchester United-Benjamin Sesko.
He was left out of the squad for Friday’s friendship against Bayer Leverkusen.
The move is worth Jackson and Chelsea, and the Blues have signed two attackers this summer – Joao Pedro from Brighton and Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
Chelsea expect to receive at least twice the 32m pounds they have spent signing Senegal ahead in 2023 from Villarreal.
The club believes he deserves more than 52m paid by Arsenal to sign Noni Madueke because of the main goal of the striker and it supports the figure.
If their asking price has not been met, Chelsea’s plan to include Jackson in the squad.
Jackson has scored 30 goals and provided 12 assistants in 80 Chelsea matches in his two years in the club.
In September 2024, he signed a nine -year contract to 2033.
