Jannik Sinner’s nomination for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award was withdrawn after he was given a three -month doping prohibition.

“We have followed this case, the relevant Global Agency’s decision and – while we recorded the situation that involved – felt that the three -month prohibition made the nomination not eligible.
“Jannik and his team have been told.”
