Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has refused to order Nicolas Jackson’s possibility to leave Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window.
Newcastle are reportedly interested in the 24 -year -old man, after Manchester United kidnapped Magpies signing striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
If they sell, Chelsea would be focusing on a double $ 32m transfer fee they paid Villarreal to Jackson in 2023.
Asked if Jackson could leave Chelsea this summer, Maresca said: “When the transfer window is open, unfortunately or fortunately, anything can happen. This also includes Nico’s situation.
“At the moment we also had two attackers to arrive, Joao (Pedro) and Liam (Delap). So we will see what is happening.”
Joao Pedro joined Brighton during the club’s World Cup for the first 55m pounds and scored three goals in three games, including a 3-0 win over Paris St-Germain in the finals, while Delap joined the £ 30m movement from Ipswich and also appeared in Merika.
Jackson’s World Cup campaign was affected by his dismissal in Flamengo match, but Chelsea’s more than 65m pounds were scored against Senegal’s 10 goals and five assistants in 30 league games last season, following 14 goals and five assistants in 35 games during Maiden’s season at Stamford Bridge.
Jackson also signed a nine -year contract to 2033 in September 2024.
