Ferrari to supply engines to Cadillac F1 team for 2026


Ferrari will supply engines to the new Cadillac team if its entry for the 2026 Formula 1 season is approved.

Cadillac, part of General Motors, has agreed with Ferrari to buy the customer’s engine and gearbox until its own power unit is ready, which is not expected before 2028.

The move means Ferrari will still have two customer teams in 2026 despite losing Sauber as it moves into the Audi factory.

Cadillac’s entry has yet to receive official confirmation from F1, but is expected to be a formality.
