COADY CONOR: Wrexham ‘will be better’ after the loss of Southampton

Coady was impressed by her North Wales clothing debt following her Stok Cae Ras switch from Leicester City.

The back station provided an important restriction to stop Adam Armstrong from scoring in the opening half and end the match after blocking three shots and making 10 clearance – all any players on the pitch.

And the 32 -year -old feels Wrexham’s performance showed that they have the ability to compete in the championship following three consecutive announcements from non -league.

“We know what we are and we know we are here to upset and distract a few teams in this division. We will continue to build and improve,” he added.

“It’s amazing to see where this club has gone.

“I think we’re in a stage now where we don’t want to be happy to be here, we want to improve and mix with a team like this and maybe go up.

“To do this we must make sure we rule at this level, and we will make sure we reach that level as soon as possible.”
