Cardinals linebacker Jesse Luketta’s season is over unless the team makes the postseason.
Lucetta must miss at least four games after being placed on injured reserve by the Cardinals on Friday, the team announced. He injured his thigh in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
He has three sacks this season.
McWilson Sr., who has been part of the rotation on the edge as well as his usual role at inside linebacker, will not play Sunday with a concussion.
The Cardinals signed linebacker Milo Effler from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. He joined the team’s practice squad on 30 October.
Effler has appeared in 15 career games with Washington and Atlanta.
