Added to Allen: “This is just terrible. … you sign up for football and think you are a danger, you understand the risk of injury. You never think that’s going to happen.
“At the end of the day, we are all out of the football players here. We can join 32 different teams, but we have all played football all our lives and have been eating and going through it.”

When the play was resumed, the Falcons Quarter Back Emuri Jones took a snap and then held the ball when the players from both teams stood on the line of screaming and the clock continued. Finally, with 6:31 left, an official announced that the game was suspended “Per New York”.
When the game was played, the lions led 17-10.
Campbell and Falcons coach Rahim Morris decided not to finish the game.

Although the decision not to end the game seemed dramatic, in August 2023 there were two views from the Games in advance in consecutive weeks.
