Speaking at Sky Sports, McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella said that the Dunni session was “alert and impressive”, which included examining a new upgrade on MacLaran.
Stella added, “She also had the opportunity to show a bit, and it is not surprising that she is a fast driver.”
“I think we need to be a little careful to see the lap time because the lap time came down when the fuel came down.
“But it was encouraging and impressive in terms of itself and it was a good session for MacLaran.”
Former Formula 1 driver, Caron Chandhok, says Dunn’s practical performance was “tremendous”.
“If I were MacLaran, I would try to deal with Cadelic or anyone like this,” he said on Sky Sports.
“You want to find a seat anywhere to make some racing experience.
“I am trying to make him a contract with someone else from time to time and take him to a teacher, as Mercedes has done with George Russell in the past.”
