Argentina Open: Joao Fonseca, 18, won the first ATP tour title to underline the status of a future star


Fonseca won the next ATP Finals Gen – for the best male players aged 21 years and under – at the end of 2024.

He was the second leading champion in the tournament after number one Jannik Sinner, who won in 2019, and who persuaded Fonseca to become a professional after the hit session in 2023.
