Mason Rudolph will then start Sunday against the Jaguars.


Mason Rudolph will continue to lead Tennessee’s offense in Week 17.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan told reporters Tuesday that Rudolph will start at quarterback against the Jaguars on Sunday.

“I think it’s earned itself. One more shot to play“He did a lot of good things in the game,” Callahan said in his press conference.

Rudolph started after Callahan benched Will Lewis last week. Rudolph completed 23 of 34 passes for 252 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in a 38–30 loss to the Colts in Week 16.

In six games this season with four starts, Rudolph has completed 64 percent of his throws for 1,267 yards with eight touchdowns and eight interceptions.

After losing four straight, the Titans will be on the road to play the Jaguars before ending the season at home against the Texans.
