Cornerback Ely Apple’s 49ers came out a short.
Apple signed a few more than a week ago, but has returned to search for a team after being released on Thursday. 49ers announced their departure, as well as signing the defense lineman Michael Domfor.
Apple had two tricks in four games for chargers last season. He has also played in the NFL for dolphins, bangles, panthers, saints and giants during his nine years.
Domphor played in two games for 49ers in 2022, and its recent regular season proceedings came to a bronze in the last season.
